Coconut Rice is a traditional rice preparation of south India. Cooked/ steamed rice added with fresh grated coconut, curry leaves and some spices.
- Channa Dal 1 Tablespoons
- Curyy Leaves 5 Leaf
- Salt 1 To Taste
- Sugar 1 Tablespoons
- Chopped Ginger 6 Numbers
- Mustard Seeds 1 Teaspoons
- Cumin 1 Teaspoons
- Green Chillies 1 Numbers
- Coconut Oil 2 Tablespoons
- Cahsewnuts 1 Cup
- Grated Coconut 2 Cup
- Boiled Rice 6 Cup
- Red Chilli 3 Piece
- Urad Dal 1 Tablespoons
- Hing Optional
- cook rice seperately make sure it is fulffy
- Heat ghee in a pan.Add cumin,mustard ,red chilli whole and saute till the aroma is released. Now add the channnadal,urad dal ,gr chillies,ginger curry leaves cashew nuts, and saute till soft
- Then add the coconut grated and sugar.Gently stir Then add the rice and fry for 2-3 minutes .chech seasoning .Stir well and adjust
- Serve hot.
