Sambar with Field Green Beans commonly known as Avarakkai Sambar in southern India is a very popular lentil combined with Field green beans combined with spices to make it very delicious and flavourful.
- Chana Daal & Tur Daal 150 Grams
- Salt To Taste
- Coconut 1 Tablespoons
- Sambar Powder 1 Tablespoons
- Tamarind Juice ¼ Cup
- Turmeric Pinch
- Hing Pinch
- Methi Seeds ⅛ Teaspoons
- Red Chilly 3 Numbers
- Cumin Seeds ¼ Teaspoons
- Mustard Seeds ¼ Teaspoons
- Oil 1 Tablespoons
- Coriander Chopped 1 Bunch
- Field Green Beans 250 Grams
- Heat a pan add oil, add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutter add cumin seeds, red chilly, methi seeds, hing, turmeric add field beans, sauté it for a minute then add tamarind juice, water, sambar powder, ground coconut, salt, cook this in a slow flame for 15 minutes, then add tur daal and chana daal (boiled), add chopped coriander.
