Radish is an edible root vegetable, with numerous health benefits. It has very less calories, high water content, rich in vitamin C and fiber. They are also rich in wide range of essential vitamins and minerals like potassium, folate, manganese, copper, magnesium, calcium, vitamin B6 etc. Radishes can be either cooked or can be had raw in salads
Ingredients
  • Radish 1 Cup
  • Oil 1 Teaspoons
  • Garlic 4-5 Clove
  • Green chillies 2-3 Numbers
  • Tamarind 20 Grams
  • Cumin seeds ½ Teaspoons
  • Turmeric ½ Teaspoons
  • Salt 1 0
  • Mustard seeds ½ Teaspoons
  • Cumin seeds ½ Teaspoons
  • Chana dal 1 Teaspoons
  • Urad dal 1 Teaspoons
  • Red chilli 2-3 Numbers
  • Curry leaves 1 Springs
  • Oil 2 Teaspoons
Instructions
  1. Take oil in a hot pan and add radish pieces. 2. Now add garlic, green chilies, tamarind, cumin seeds, turmeric and salt. 3. Saute it for few minutes and cook it on slow flame by covering with a lid. 4. After 5 min switch off the flame and transfer it in a blender to make a coarse paste. 5. For tempering add oil in a pan and add some mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, red chili and curry leaves. 6. When the colour changes put this on the chutney. 7. Mix well and serve with rice, roti or even chapati.
