steamed dumplings are easy to make and delicious without any oil or masala made of split black gram.
- Urad dal 1 Cup
- Salt 1 0
- Cumin seeds ½ Teaspoons
- Ghee 4-5 Teaspoons
- Soak urad dal for 6 hours and strain water from that. 2. Take this urad dal and transfer it in the blender, add salt and blend into fine paste. 3. Take this in a bowl and add cumin seeds and mix it. 4. Now steam this in a idli tray or in the old method of a container with a tight cloth tied on it. 5. Keep small dumplings with spoon on the cloth. No need to worry about the shape. 6. Cover it with a lid and steam it for 10 min. 7. Remove it with a fork and take them in a plate. 8. With ghee topping enjoy these steamed dumplings.
