A kofta recipe prepared with boiled plantain and paneer which is flavored with crushed pepper and ginger. These koftas are sauted in rich silky gravy of cashewnuts which make a delicious kofta redipe.
Ingredients
  • Plantain (grated) 1 Cup
  • Paneer 1 Cup
  • Cashew nuts paste 1 Tablespoons
  • Salt 1 0
  • Pepper powder ½ Teaspoons
  • Garlic (crushed) 3 Numbers
  • Ginger (chopped) 1 Piece
  • All purpose flour 1 Tablespoons
  • Besan 1 Tablespoons
  • Oil for deep fry 250 ml
  • Green chilli 2 Numbers
  • Onion 2 Numbers
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ Teaspoons
  • Turmeric 1 Pinch
  • Chilli powder 1 Teaspoons
  • Tomato puree 1 Cup
  • Sugar 1 Pinch
Instructions
  1. Take a bowl add boiled and grated plantain,grated paneer,salt, pepper powder, crushed garlic and chopped ginger, all purpose flour, besan mix all the ingredients and convert them into koftas. Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry till they turn golden brown. For the gravy : Heat oil in a kadai add chopped green chilli, boiled onion paste, salt, ginger garlic paste saute for 1 minute. Add turmeric, chilli powder, cashew nuts paste, when the mixture is cooked add tomato puree and also add required water pinch of sugar mix well and cook for 10 minutes with the lid on. After 10 minutes add fried koftas cook for 5 minutes then switch off the flame. Serve this with Rice or roti.
