Marinated Peppers Sandwich |

Colourful peppers marinated with olive oil, vinegar and spices perfectly complements the parsley cream cheese in the marinated peppers sandwich. The lemon juice, though used in a small quantity, perks up the cream cheese very well.
- 6 hot dog rolls
- butter for spreading
- To Be Mixed Together For The Parsley Cream Cheese
- ¼ cup grated fresh paneer (cottage cheese)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp lemon juice
- 1 clove of garlic (lehsun) , grated
- 2 tsp finely chopped onions
- 1 tsp chopped parsley
- To Be Mixed Together For The Marinated Peppers
- ¼ cup thinly sliced red peppers
- ¼ cup thinly sliced green peppers
- ¼ cup thinly sliced yellow pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp freshly crushed freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder
- salt to taste
- Cut each dinner roll into 2 horizontally and apply a little butter on both the halves.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (350°f) for 2 minutes till each half is lightly toasted.
- Spread approx. 1 tablespoon of the parsley cream cheese on the bottom layer of the roll and top with the marinated peppers.
- Sandwich with the top half of the roll. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 5 more sandwiches.
