Masala Cauliflower and Green Peas Subzi

Masala cauliflower and green peas subzi, is a very easy and quick recipe. . This is great to serve in tiffin as well.
Ingredients
  • For The Paste
  • 4 tbsp freshly grated coconut
  • 8 garlic (lehsun) cloves
  • 4 green chillies , roughly chopped
  • 1” ginger (adrak) piece
  • Other Ingredients
  • 1 cup cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup green peas
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 4 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
  • 5 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • ¾ cup finely chopped onions
  • salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • For Serving
  • parathas/puris
Instructions
  1. For the paste
  2. Combine the coconut, garlic, green chillies and ginger and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste using little water. Keep aside.
  3. How to proceed
  4. Combine the paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, onions, salt and 2 tbsp oil in a plate and mix the masala well.
  5. Add the green peas and cauliflower, mix well and keep aside.
  6. Heat the remaining 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai, add the cauliflower- green pea masala mixture and 1 cup of water, cover and cook no a slow flame for 8 to 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot with parathas or puris.
