Soya Aur Gobhi ki Bhaji

Try this tasty bhaji, which is made with healthy soya granules and grated cauliflower, cooked in the microwave. It tastes best when eaten steaming hot.
Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp soya granules
  • ½ cup grated cauliflower
  • 2 tbsp onion paste
  • ½ tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
  • ½ tsp coriander (dhania) powder
  • ¼ tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tbsp ready-made tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • For The Garnish
  • 2 tsp chopped coriander (dhania)
Instructions
  1. Combine the soya granules with ¼ cup warm water in a bowl and soak for 15 to 20 minutes till soft. Drain and keep aside.
  2. Combine the oil, onion paste and ginger-garlic paste in a microwave-proof bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  3. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and 1 teaspoon water, mix well and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  4. Add the tomato purée, soya granules, cauliflower, milk, salt and ¼ cup water, mix well and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot garnished with coriander.
