Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Masoor dal
  • 1 Bunch Palak (finely chopped)
  • 2 Red chilli (Halved)
  • a pinch Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander - few leaves
Instructions
  1. Wash palak (spinach) thoroughly, chop and wash massor dal,put both in the pressure cooker cook for 20 mins.(up to 3 whistles.) Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger/garlic paste, dhania powder, red chilly powder, turmeric and salt. Stir till ginger /garlic smell goes away and oil leaves the side of the pan. Add cooked masoor dal and palak. Add ½ tsp of pure ghee. and cook 5 more mins. Serve hot with Plain Rice, Papad and fried "Dahi - Mirch)"
