Ingredients
  • 1 cup Tur dal
  • 1 small bunch of Methi leaves
  • 1 small Tomato chopped
  • 2 or 3 garlic pods(optional)
  • ½tsp Chilly powder
  • A pinch a turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Seasoning:
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 red chilis (Halved)
  • 1 tsp temerind juice.
Instructions
  1. Cook the dal along with chopped tomato and methi. Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder. Add tamarind juice.Boil for 5 mins. Add salt. Simmer for 2 mins. Then season with all the ingredients.If you want you can put garlic. Serve with rice.
