- 2 cups Green Peas
- 1 big Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 big Tomato (finely chopped)
- 3 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Green chilli (slit)
- ½ tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
- a pinch of Asafoetida (hing)
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Garam masala powder
- ½ tsp Red chilli powder
- 2-3 tbsp Heavy cream
- 2 cups Water
- 2 tbsp finely chopped Cilantro (Coriander leaves)
- Salt to taste
- In a kadai, heat Oil. Add Cumin seeds & Hing.
- Add Onion, Green chillies and Ginger-garlic paste.
- Add Tomato & mix well. Add Water, Turmeric powder, Garam masala powder, Red chilli powder & Salt. Boil well for 3-4 mins.
- Add the Green peas & mix. Cover & cook till the peas are done.
- Now add the Heavy cream & mix well. Turn off the heat. Garnish with chopped Cilantro. Serve with Roti, plain rice, chapati, poori.
