Tender tamarind leaves dal or chinta chiguru pappu is a common dish from the Andhra cuisine cooked with dal (lentil), chinta chiguru and mildly spiced. Goes well with rice, chapati or roti
- Water-as Required
- Salt (To Taste)
- Curry Leaves
- Green Chilles 4 - 5
- Turermic Powder pinch
- Onion 1 Small
- Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoons
- Mustard Seeds 1 Teaspoons
- Cumin Seed 1 Teaspoons
- OIL 1 Tablespoons
- Tender Tamarind Leaves ( Chinta Chiguru) 1 Cup
- Toor Dal 1 Cup
- Butter 1 Teaspoons
- Corainder Leaves Bunch
- Clean and Boil Dal keep it a side
- Take a pan add Oil saute mustard seeds,Cumin seeds,chopped onions,garlic paste, turemic,green chillies,curry leaves,salt, saute this for few min.
- Now add tender tamarind leaves add little water and let it cook for 5 min.
- Add boiled dal let it cook for another 5min lastly add chopped coriander leaves.
