Thotakura pulusu (stew) is a very simple and tasty dish spiced up with chillies and sweetened with jaggery. Pulusu is a clear broth (tamarind) cooked with vegetables and a spice is served as a side dish along with rice.
- Jaggary 1 Teaspoons
- Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoons
- Curry Leaves 1 Springs
- Salt as needed
- Onions 1 Numbers
- Hing pinch
- Green Chillies 4 Numbers
- Turmuric pinch
- Garlic 6 Numbers
- Jeera pinch
- Fenugreek Seeds pinch
- Murstard Seeds pinch
- Red Chilli 2 Numbers
- Oil 1 Tablespoons
- Tamarind Juice as needed
- Amaranth Leaves 5 Bunch
- Rosted Peanuts Chrushed 2 Tablespoons
- Wash amaranth leaves keep it a side.
- Take a pan add oil red chilly dry,murstard,fenugreek,jeera seeds, now add garlic, turmuric, onions, hing, salt, add the amaranth leaves ,curry leaves cook till the leaves are cooking 90%.Now add tamarind juice, jaggary cook for 5min then add Roasted peanuts powder mix well cook for 2-3min and serve with roti or rice.
