It is a dry achaar, that is hot and spicy. Goes well with plain rice and some dry curry.
Ingredients
  • Salt, Soy Sauce, Chillie Powder, Ajino Moto To Taste
  • Sliced Onion 3 Big
  • Red Dried Chillies 1 Bunch
  • Dried Shrimp 300 Grams
  • Crushed Ginger 3 Tablespoons
  • Crushed Garlic 4 Tablespoons
  • Oil To Fry
Instructions
  1. Wash the dried shrimp in warm water and remove impurities. Crush it a little along with the red dried chillies. Put oil in a pan and fry it till the shrimp is crunchy, and keep aside. Now in the same pan put a little oil and fry the sliced onion till it is caramel in color. Don't let it burn. Take it out of the pan and keep it aside. Now again put a little oil and then fry the crushed ginger and garlic, till the garlic is cooked and then add all the fried ingredients into it. Then add a little soya sauce, salt, chilli powder, and ajino moto. Now turn off the stove. Let it cool down and them put it in a jar. Since all the ingredients are fried, you can keep this achar for quite sometime and relish it with plain rice, or even roti.
