Prawn Caldine curry is a non-spicy yellow Goan curry made with prawns. This dish is a popular Goan dish usually made with fish.
  • Green Chilly 4 Numbers
  • Ginger Garlic Slices 10 Grams
  • Salt To Taste
  • Onions 2 Numbers
  • Oil 3 Tablespoons
  • Poppy Seeds 1 Tablespoons
  • Cumin Seeds 1 Teaspoons
  • Coriander Seeds 1 Teaspoons
  • Pepper Corns 10 Numbers
  • Prawns 500 Grams
  • Turmeric ¼ Teaspoons
  • Tamarind Juice ½ Cup
  • Vinegar ½ Teaspoons
  • Coconut Milk 3 Tablespoons
  • Sugar 1 Pinch
  1. Heat a pan add pepper corns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, poppy seeds,
  2. dry roast the ingredients, put it in to the blender and make a paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan add prawns, salt, cook it for a minute and take it in to a plate,
  4. in the same oil add onions, salt, thin slices of ginger & garlic, green chilly, turmeric and add made poppy seeds paste,
  5. add tamarind juice, vinegar, cook it for some more minutes,
  6. add coconut milk bring it to a boil add pinch of sugar,
  7. add the cooked prawns cook it for 3 minutes and switch off the flame.
