A different version of paneer vegetable. . . Made in a style using palak and other vegetables.
Ingredients
  • For The Spinach
  • 4½ cups chopped spinach (palak)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp plain flour (maida)
  • 3 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • Other Ingredients
  • 200 gms chopped paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 1½ cups chopped mixed boiled vegetables (french beans , carrots, cauliflower)
  • ¾ cup tomato gravy
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. For the spinach
  2. Cook the spinach without adding any water.
  3. When cooked, blend in a liquidiser.
  4. Heat the oil and fry the onion for ½ minute.
  5. Add the flour and fry again for ½ minute.
  6. Add the green chillies, spinach and salt and cook for 1 minute.
  7. How to proceed
  8. Mix the spinach with the paneer, vegetables (french beans, carrots, cauliflower) and salt and spread in a baking dish.
  9. Pour the tomato gravy on top.
  10. If you like, grate a little of the paneer and sprinkle on top.
  11. Bake in a hot oven at 200 degree c for 10 minutes.
  12. Serve hot.

Health Information :
An excellent combination of a dairy product ( which provides proteins) with green and starchy vegetables.
These vegetables supply iron, vitamins, minerals and complete carbohydrates.
