This unique south indian rasam is flavored with brinjals. It has a mild seety flavors of brinjal.
  • peppercorns 1 Teaspoons
  • red chilly 4 Numbers
  • chanadal 1 Teaspoons
  • tour dal ½ Teaspoons
  • cumin seeds ½ Teaspoons
  • Brinjal 100 Grams
  • Tomatoes chopped 3 Numbers
  • Salt 1 0
  • Tamarind juice ½ Cup
  • green chilly 3 Numbers
  • Dal water 1 Cup
  • Mustard seeds ¼ Teaspoons
  • Hing 1 Pinch
  • Curry leaves 2 Springs
  • Oil 1 Tablespoons
  1. Heat a pan add peppercorns, red chillies, coriander seeds, chana dal, toor dal, cumin seeds, dry roast all the ingredients and put them into the blender and make a powder. 2. heat water in a pan in this add brinjal pieces, Chopped tomatoes, salt, tamarind juice, green chilly, put the lid on and let it cook till brinjal is soft. 3. Add Dal water, add prepared Rasam powder, once it comes to boil, 4. heat a pan in another side and add oil, when oil is hot add mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves, switch off the flame and pour the tempering on the top of the rasam and add chopped coriander leaves and put the lid on.
