Moussaka is a casserole made by layering eggplant with a spiced meat filling then topping it off with a creamy bechamel sauce that is baked to golden perfection.
  • All Purpose Flour 1 Cup
  • Butter 3 Tablespoons
  • Sugar 1 Pinch
  • Parsley 1 Teaspoons
  • Salt To Taste
  • Red Wine ½ Cup
  • Pepper Powder 2 Teaspoons
  • Cinnamon Powder ½ Teaspoons
  • All Spicy Powder 1 Teaspoons
  • Tomato Concasse ½ Cup
  • Mince Meat 500 Grams
  • Chopped Onion 1 Numbers
  • Chopped Garlic 1 Teaspoons
  • Olive Oil 2 Tablespoons
  • Milk 2 Cup
  • Nut Meg Powder 1 Pinch
  • Cheese 2 Tablespoons
  • Egg Yolk 2 Numbers
  • Egg Plant 3 Numbers
  • Potato 3 Numbers
  1. Heat olive oil in a pan add chopped garlic, chopped onion, salt, mince meat, tomatoes concasse (boiled and remove the skin) cook for few minutes, and add all spicy powder, cinnamon powder, pepper powder, red wine, parsley, and add sugar cook it for few minutes.
  2. Heat butter in another pan add all purpose flour; cook it in a slow flame till raw flour is gone, add milk mix it well and add pepper powder, nut meg powder, salt, and add cheese, and egg yolk, mix it well, switch off the flame.
  3. First cut the egg plant, and potato thin slices, and fry them, Take bowl add bread crumb, pepper powder, salt, mix this.
  4. Take a large deep casserole sprinkle the bottom of pan with bread crumb, place a layer of fried potato pieces, then sprinkle the bread crumb and place a layer of fried egg plant pieces, and spread mince meat ,on top of this, then put the potato pieces, and egg plant pieces, mince meat, white sauce, sprinkle the bread crumb, and cheese on top of them and bake for 20minutes.
  5. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
