  • Rice – 2 cups
  • Carrot – 2
  • Beans – 10
  • Grated cabbage – 1 cup
  • Green gram – 1 cup
  • Peas – ½ cup
  • Cinnamon – small piece
  • Salt to taste
  • Cloves – 5
  • Green chili – 3
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 ½ tsp
  • Onions – 3
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Oil – ⅓ cup
  1. Soak rice and green gram for an hour.
  2. Grate onions, carrots, beans and put aside.
  3. Now add some oil in a cooker and put it on stove.
  4. After oil gets heated add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and fry.
  5. Now add cinnamon, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, turmeric in the cooker and mix it well.
  6. Now add vegetables, peas and cook on a small flame. After that add rice, green gram and fry for some time. Then pour 4 cups of water in the cooker adding salt and cook until the cooker sounds four whistles.
