  • Dondakaya chopped- 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds – 2 tea spoon
  • Dry red Chillies - 6
  • Salt for taste
  • Curry leaves -10
  • Oil – 2 spoons
  1. Preparation of Dondakaya Jeelakarra Karam:
  2. Boil the chopped Dondakaya pieces in a pressure cooker for one whistle and keep it aside.
  3. Prepare a fine powder by grinding Cumin seeds, Dry red Chillies and Salt.
  4. Heat the pan with oil, add Curry leaves and cooked Dondakaya pieces.
  5. Sprinkle the Cumin seeds powder and mix well.
  6. Dondakaya Jeelakarra Karam goes well with rice and ghee.
