This delicious slimmer's salad contains all the vitamins a and c needed in the full day's diet.
  • To Be Mixed For The Curd Dressing
  • 1½ cups hung low fat curds
  • 1 tbsp chopped onions
  • ½ tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1 tsp mustard (rai / sarson) powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • Other Ingredients
  • 4 dessert apples
  • 1 fresh pear (optional)
  • 1 orange
  • 1 medium sized capsicum
  • 4 carrot
  • 4 sticks celery (ajmoda)
  • ½ cucumber
  • a few raisins (kismis)
  1. Chop the fruits coarsely.
  2. Grate the vegetables.
  3. Mix in a bowl and put to chill.
  4. If you like, add the curd dressing.
  5. Serve cold.
